The Female Gaze 2023-Online Print Sale to support Youth Without Borders Gaza

Dec 24, 2023

The Female Gaze is a photographic print sale by 108 female* Belgian or Belgium-based photographers in aid of the urgent humanitarian crisis in Gaza.  All proceeds will be donated to Shabab Gaza in support of Youth Without Borders Gaza, a small and local organization, founded by Mohammed Arborjela and based in Khan Younis, which provides basic needs to victims of violence.

(Dec 20 - Jan 10)

The current situation in the Gaza Strip is dire. An unprecedented escalation of violence is taking a devastating toll on all civilians in the region.

As photographers, but above all people - often mothers - with a great commitment, it is impossible to look away. It is time for action.

For this edition, however, we believe that the scale of the disaster transcends gender. In a war that affects everyone, it feels morally incorrect to provide aid selectively for women only.

All proceeds will be donated to Shabab Gaza (Youth Without Borders Gaza). This small and local organization, founded by Mohammed Arborjela and based in Khan Younis, provides basic needs to victims of violence.

* The Female Gaze is inclusive of anyone who identifies as FLINTA (Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans or Agender).
